This category contains thoughts of different Military Sweethearts. They have been contributed by AllMyLove's readers and may not necessarily reflect my personal views. But I think it's really important to show each other we're not alone. Feeling down? See what some of the ladies that have been in your shoes got through it, or what they have thought going through various important parts of their lives!
My friend Row has worked in the mortgage industry for 14
years. She even spent some time specializing in VA loans. A couple of weeks
ago, I approached her with the idea of writing a blog about documents people
should bring when they’re looking to purchase a house with a VA Loan. I am
thrilled to present this information to you today. Please note, it is a good
idea to check with the Military regarding any information you may find here,
documentation rules for everything can change often so please feel free to use
this information as a guideline.
Homecoming is a topic that brings a smile to my face, which
is then quickly replaced with a feeling of knots and butterflies. After helping
my friend Row through her first homecoming I thought it would be fun to share
some tips with you all. Feel free to add your own!

Off Base Housing? This blog will help explore the general pros and cons with
either option as well as offer you some help to decide which will be better for
you and your spouse.

How to Keep a Relationship Strong during Deployment
Deployments are a tricky thing; many see it as a true
testament to how strong your relationship is. Let’s face it, it’s not exactly
simple to maintain that closeness you experience with your significant other
when oceans and continents separate you. But there are things that you can keep
in mind to maybe alleviate some of the stress. Below are a few tips to keep in
mind when preparing/going through a deployment as suggested by several of my
friends over at Sailor’s Better Half.
Deployment is always a stressful time for everyone involved.
This blog entry will cover a few things to take care of before deployment. The
less confusion there is during a deployment, the less stressful it will be on
both the service member and the significant other involved. Please note this
list does not cover everything, it is a general overview of most major things.
Feel free to add to the list with anything I have left out.
